When pronounced alone, the final consonant sounds [t].
When followed by another word, it is governed by the subsequent sound:
над этим диваном [d], под столом [t], перед лекцией [d]

--And I want coffee with milk and sugar.

--Дайте мне пожалуйста стакан чаю.
--А я хочу кофе с молоком и сахаром.
