    can't find definition for повязать

    A wonderful gypsy-ish song used the word <<повяжу>> or something like that and i can't manage to get a definition.. also in the same song the word <<косы>> and it kept getting the definition <<spit>> which seems unlikely but once came across as <<braids>> - which seems more likely, as elsewhere in the song, <<платочком>> is also used.. /shrug/ Anyway if anyone could help me define повяжу &/or повяжать I would appreciate the help.. and sorry if my question is stupid..

    It was a stupid question and I've answered it as knitting.. here's the trans as best I could come up with..

    для него пропет?
    Но не веселит мне душу красота
    Стала я другая стал а я не та
    Ай - не, не, не, не. cтал а я не та
    //
    Sight of the valley
    In the sky squint
    And spit on a handkerchief colorful knit.
    Ah, no, no, no, no, do not spit on knitting
    Where now would be a friend
    In the eyes look
    Cherished song
    Ah, for him to sing?
    Ay, no, no, no, no, no,
    for him to sing?
    But no cheers my soul beauty
    I began to become another and I'm not the one
    Ah - no, no, no, no. I became and I'm not the one

    повяжу косы = I'll braid my hair (literally "I'll tie my hair"). infinitive - повязать
    платочком = by/with headscarf

    Thank you!! And <<I'll tie my hair>> fits the song... <<do not spit on knitting>> is rather silly, now that I think about it.. Спасибо..
