    As best as i could translate:
    On the timber terrace near the hemp-field accompanied by the violoncello play, freckled Agrippina Savvichna quietly regaled Collegium Assessor Fadey Apollonovitch with vinaigrette and vareniks.

    Collegium Assessor - is an old russian official's rank used in Russian Empire before 1917.

    vinaigrette - is a vegetable mix, that includes beetroot, reen peas, potatoes and some other vegetables.
