    Я хочу сказать "I'm learning Russian" по-русски.

Я увидел много ответ для этому вопросу, а ничто совершенно.(Это грамматика хорошая?)
Everyone gives answers avoiding the topic of cases. From what I've gathered, "учу" is correct, but the case of "русский" changes the meaning from 'learn' to 'teach'? "Учусь" means teach myself, right, which is pretty much the same as "learn" if no ones else is teaching you. I could use some elaboration on this.

Я учу русский (язык) - is okay for "I learn/am learning Russian".

    However,

Я учу русскому (языку) means "I teach/am teaching Russian"

Take a close look at cases there, that's a perfect example when messing up cases means to convey diffrent meanings

    Nevertheless, be advised that

    Я учу русский (язык)

is a somewhat informal use of the verb учить, if you wanted a more official verb for that you would say:

    Я изучаю русский язык.

    Hope it helps

P.S. Я увидел много ответ для этому вопросу, а ничто совершенно

Я видел много ответов на этот вопрос... (слышал would sound much better though)

а ничто совершенно - What do you want to say? Doesn't make much sense in Russian. Anyway, a lucky guess here, I thought what you meant is:

I've seen a lot of answers to this question, but none of them was perfect, if so then:

Я видел много ответов на этот вопрос, но ни один из них не был исчерпывающим. Note: исчерпывающий ответ is a very thorough answer, which answers the question completely

I don't understand most of the cases in the revised sentence, but this helps a lot. Thank you very much!
Edit: Actually I think I see the reasoning for the cases. I didn't think that the genitive case translated that literally

Well, I don't see why you mentioned the genitive case, sorry.

Я учу русский - here the bolded word is in accusative
Я учу русскому - here it is in dative

Oh, my fault, I meant in "Я видел много ответов на этот вопрос, но ни один из них не был исчерпывающим". I understand cases I swear . All is clear now.

Thanks! Speaking of which, someone once said to me "много ошибок грамматических". So, it took me a while to figure this out, "ошибок" is the genitive plural of "ошибка" , isn't it.
