I speak in English
Did i use the words correctly?
You used all of them correctly! Congrats!
It's correct, but better as "I speak English"(But that means the same as I speak in English)
"I speak in English" is really a strange thing to say. I can't imagine a context where you would make that statement.
Женя Белякова has the right idea - говорите I speak English.
However, you double-posted.
You can say: I speak in English!
To speak in a language
Learn to speak in English!
In Russia, when I meet americans, I speak in English, but to my hot russian girl - in russian.
Я говорю русский язык
Does that seem more natural?
Я говорю русский язык is bad grammar.
Russian's say, I speak Russianly, although I am new to Russian...

или "я знаю русский язык."
Я знаю как говорить по-русски.
Is that correct too?
Не очень.

Well what would sound more natural for a tranlation of "I know how to speak russian"?
I thought you used уметь for that type of thing.
I would not use уметь with speaking a language. The best is simply to say "я говорю по-русски".
