Я попытался переводить песню "Половинка". Исправьте ошибки, пожалуйста.

У ночного огня под огромной луной
Темный лес укрывал нас зеленой листвой
Я тебя целовал у ночного огня
Я тебе подарил половинку себя

By the night fire under the vast moon
The dark forest concealed us with green foliage
I kissed you by the night fire
I gave half of myself to you

Light of the distant star, songs of birds until morning
You looked into my eyes, whispered words
You didn't believe me but you loved me

То что было забыто то что было прошло

That which was forgotten is that which had passed
You waved to me into the track with a turquoise kerchief

That's a very good comprehension level, on the whole. Just a couple goofs

"То, что было — забыто, то, что было — прошло" means, literally, "that which was, is forgotten; that which was, is gone" or "the things of the past are forgotten, the things of the past are gone" or whichever other way you want to say it.

"Махать вслед" means "to wave toward someone or something that is moving away from you". The idea here is that this guy's girlfriend was waving him goodbye while he was going away. I don't think there is a universal way to translate "вслед" in expressions like "кричать/махать/глядеть вслед." The general idea is that the action is directed at or toward someone or something which is going away.

It's not your fault about the skipping the dashes. It's kinda hard to "hear" them. I've specially looked the written original text.
The difference is:

то, что было забыто - that which has been forgotten

то что было - забыто - that which was is forgotten.

Punctuation is important in Russian
Consider this example (Teachers use it in school):

Казнить нельзя помиловать!

In dependence of where you put a comma a man would be executed or pardoned.
