    соответствовать

I came across this word many times this week and I feel that I should ask for its meaning.

In the dictionary I found the following definitions:
    - satisfy
    - meet
    - correspond
    - match

Based on this I wrote the following example sentences
    1. This proposal does not satisfy us as a company because it doesn't meet the criteria we set.
    2. The new law does not correspond to our needs.
    3. His qualifications does not meet / satisfy our requirements for this position
    4. Your qualifications do not match the required skills.
    5. Her husband does not satisfy her erotically / sexually for this reason she left him.
    6. Nothing seemed to satisfy his insatiable lust for domination.
    7. This shoes do not match with this clothes.

In all these cases I can use the word соответствовать?
Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

1.1. No. Use "подходить" or "устраивать"
    1.2. Yes.
    2. Yes
    3. Yes.
    4. Yes.
    5. No. Use "Удовлетворять"or "устраивать".
    6. No. Use "удовлетворять"
    7. Yes, but "сочетаться c" or "подходить к" is better.

Basically it does NOT mean "makes content".
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

How about: "The company understood that I would be extremely costly to satisfy demand (i.e. of its product) by keeping the factory in USA"
Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.
