    разок

In the beautiful song: "Выйду ночью в поле с конём" appears: "Дай-ка я разок посмотрю", what I see translated some times as "I'm going to have a peep to". This word 'разок' is in the net 864.328'25 times, approximately, but not in my dictionaries. It is also in Морфологический Анализ as a nominative: разок, -a, ..., but without meaning. I have searched also for 'разкa', also it is many times in the net, but not in dictionaries.
On "Дай-ка" has been widely discussed in this forum. So my question goes only on "разок". What does it mean exactly? And where this word comes from (if it is possible) ?
    Thank you.

It's diminutive from "раз", it means "one time", "once".
