    постороняя / Предоставь это мне

    Hi all,
There are 2 words for which I can't find any translation (actually 1 word and 1 expression) :
постороняя ("В конце концов, я сестра Сергея. Я не постороняя.")
Предоставь это мне ("Не волнуйся. Предоставь это мне. Всё будет в порядке.")

    Could you help please ?
    Excuse my english, I’m French.

Re: постороняя / Предоставь это мне

After all, I'm Sergey's sister - I'm not a stranger [to him / in this situation].
Don't worry. Trust me, I'll settle this. Everything will be ok.
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Предоставь это мне - let me arrange it
Налево пойдёшь - коня потеряешь, направо пойдёшь - сам голову сложишь.
    Прямой путь не предлагать!

    Thank you,
I thought so, from the context.
But is there a mistake in "постороняя" spelling ?
Why can't I find it in dictionnaries ?

One last question : what does "Предоставь" mean litterally ?
Is it "leave it to me" ?
    Excuse my english, I’m French.

Literally it means "give", "grant". Usually it is a literary word, used in certain contexts.

Your example is a set phrase, kind of. It is a shortened version of
"Предоставь/дай мне право/возможность заняться этим делом" ("give/grant me a right to deal with it")
Usually, nobody says that. People just say
"Предоставь это мне" ("leave it to me").
