    парашютизм - parachute jumping - прыжки с парашютом - парашютный спорт

    What about "парашютим", I never heard this, but suppose that it can be slang of parachute jumpers. The sentence "мы парашутим" would mean something like "we are baling out "

    Никогда не встречал вариант со "щ". Другое дело, что были предложения ввести новые правила орфографии, в которых, среди прочего, предлагалось писать "парашют" через "у", то есть "парашут", но, вроде бы, они не прошли...
