Разговорчики (talks, conversations) is diminutive plural of разговор - (talk, conversation)

This word usually have negative nuance.

The word Разговорчики is usually used when empty, with not much meaning talks are taking place. It carries somewhat negative connotation.

does it something like "rant" or "useless talks" in english? I'm neither english native speaker nor living in an english speaking country .

chatter, idle talk, etc. I do not think that rant is a good translation.

Some examples:
1. Lesson. Students are talking not about the topic. The teacher can say: "Разговорчики прекратили!"
2. Rank of soldiers. Somebody are talking. Sergeant can cry: "Разговорчики в строю!" (means "Stop talking")
3. Somebody talk provocative idea or blacken smb reputation. To prevent this you can say: "Разговорчики!"

You can say "Ну и разговорчик завели, постыдились бы лучше."
