    what is the infinitive of заснет?

    Да если б я козла этого не с.издил

    I'm given to understand that this is some sort of swear. What is the verb с.издил?
    How does the .(word) construction translate - is it like c(#%^#).издил
    where the reader imagines his own curse words?

    I'm not sure about "фазу давить", looks like a kind of army slang...
    заснет == inf. засыпать (in the meaning of falling asleep)

    A mat equivalent to "украсть". Put "п" in the place of dot.

    I'm reading it because it's only thing I could find online that has an English translation which is so much easier for the intermediate student. Unfortunately, it's filled with slang and stuff that's not in the dictionary.

    This author uses the writing style that an intermediate learner would hardly understand the way a native speaker would. I think that if you want to learn the language you should look for another book. You are now wasting time for slang that no one really uses in real life. But if your goal is to learn some military slang then keep on reading it

    Can you tell me some that are original Russian then translated into English, not English into Russian.

    Да, в русскоязычном секторе гораздо легче найти английские книги с русским подстрочником, чем наоборот, потому что они предназначены для изучения английской кульуры, а не русской. Я думаю, можно просто поискать переведённую русскую литературу в электронных библиотеках, а затем в одной из русских библиотек найти оригинал.
