Thread: В настоящее время... (find the odd man out)

I find it quite difficult to find the answer to the following exercise. You're required to find the sentence which is not suitable for the whole text. Can someone translate the text and explain it to me which sentence is the odd man out?

(1) В настоящее время было предпринято несколько попыток расшифровки строительных констант. (2) Храм Светицховели - старинный грузинский православный архитектурный комплекс на берегу Куры. (3) Считается, что при строительстве, комплекса были учтены какие-то сокровенные знания. (4) Видимо, главенствующую роль в Мцхетском комплексе замнимает храм святой Инны, с которого открывается великолепный вид на остальные постройки, в целом образующие фигуру креста. (5) Существует легенда, что святая равноапостольная Нина, провозвестница христианства в Грузии, когда-то смастерила крест, скрепив обрезки лозы своими срезанными косами.

I think, the first sentence isn't suitable. Because the other ones are about religion. As for translation, I'm sorry, but I have no time now.

I am thinking the last sentence is out of place. The paragraph is about temples, their architecture, and their construction. The last sentence has nothing to do with temples - the last sentence is about a legend.

I cannot translate the paragraph properly, but this is what I can figure out from my dictionaries and on-line interpreters.

(1) Presently, some attempts of decoding of building constants have been undertaken.
(2) Temple Светицховели - an ancient Georgian orthodox architectural complex on the coast of the Куры.
(3) It is considered, that at construction, some complex secret knowledge has been taken into account.
(4) Probably, a predominating role in the Мцхетском complex occupies the sacred Inna's temple from which the magnificent kind on other constructions opens, as a whole forming a figure of a cross.
(5) there Is a legend, that sacred apostol-like Nina, провозвестница christianities in Georgia, has once made a cross, having fastened scraps of rods with cut hair-braids.

Indeed, could be 1) or 5).

It seems to me that the 1st is not situable. But... i will be happy if anybody explain me what the phrase 'строительные константы' means

First you've got text about textile, now about Georgian relegious architecture... What's your specialization? Design?

These questions are from a test preparation book for Russian Language Proficiency Examination in Turkey. All state employees who want to prove their foreign language skills have to take it.

By the way, I'm not a designer. I teach economics at a university in Southern Turkey.

So what is the correct answer?
Will we find out someday?

I still think the 5th sentence is the odd one.

According to the textbook from which I took the question, the answer is (1).

Oh darn.
