Since this song is completely different from the prose I'm trying to translate in the corresponding thread, I've decided to create a dedicated thread.
Trying to make a literal translation of a song in archaic Russian produced a result that was terrible to read; but my efforts to make it sound "closer" to the original made it even more terrible. However, here it is:

Не шуми, мати зеленая дубровушка, Do not rustle, mother oak-grove,
Не мешай мне доброму молодцу думу думати. Do not hinder a good fellow to brood.
Что заутра мне доброму молодцу в допрос идти 'Cause tomorrow I, a good fellow, shall come to an inquiry,
Перед грозного судью, самого царя. In front of a terrible judge, the Tzar himself.
Еще станет государь-царь меня спрашивать: He will ask me, the Tzar, the sovereign:
Ты скажи, скажи, детинушка крестьянский сын, ”Tell me, tell me, dear lad, oh peasant son,
Уж как с кем ты воровал, с кем разбой держал, How, with whom did you steal and rob?
Еще много ли с тобой было товарищей? How many were with you other fellows?”
Я скажу тебе, надежа православный царь, ”I shall tell you, oh my hope, the orthodox Tzar,
Всеё правду скажу тебе, всю истину, I shall tell you all the truth, all the verity,
Что товарищей у меня было четверо: That there were with me four comrades:
Еще первый мой товарищ темная ночь, As the first my comrade was the dark night,
А второй мой товарищ булатный нож, And my second comrade was a knife of steel,
А как третий-то товарищ, то мой добрый конь, And the third my comrade was a good horse,
А четвертый мой товарищ, то тугой лук, And the fourth my comrade was a strong bow,
Что рассыльщики мои, то калены стрелы. And my messengers were file-hard arrows.”
Что возговорит надежа православный царь: And he says, the hope, the orthodox Tzar:
”Исполать тебе, детинушка крестьянский сын, Hail you, dear lad, oh peasant son,
Что умел ты воровать, умел ответ держать! That you knew how to steal and how to answer me!
Я за то тебя, детинушка, пожалую And for that, dear lad, I shall bestow on you
Середи поля хоромами высокими, A high mansion in a field,
Что двумя ли столбами с перекладиной. A mansion of two posts with a crossbeam.”

I will be grateful for any suggestions to make the translation sound less terrible
