    What is FlightControl saying?

    http://rapidshare.com/files/429718116/Intba.wav (wav-format)
Topic: briefing for a crew during aircraft preparations for take-off.

    What is FlightControl saying?
Is it at new year's eve or christmas or something?
    Is a arrival-airport specified?

Where do you dig those samples up from? They sound like somebody reads the script form a paper.

I can't download from rapidshare but previous deciphered texts look like briefings for missions in flight simulator videogame. Il-2 or something like that.

I have uploaded the file to a russian file-hoster:
    Intba.wav скачать с Файлы@Mail.Ru

    Maybe someone can help now.

    What is flight control saying?
Is there mentioned a specific date (new year's eve, christmas or something)?
Is there mentioned a specific arrival airport and arrival time for the C-130 transport airplane?

u gotta be kidding me - this is not a briefing, i think someone reads a passage from some letter or a book, the recording is awful and its really hard even for me to decipher what exactly the man is saying (for the record he also mentions that it's really cold and the most important part of his body is also frozen (guess which one)). I could hear that in the end he talked about New Years.

Ok, I listened to it again - this is a monologue of some man from the army (one-sided conversation) - he is serving in the army and his friend flew to wherever he is serving at he calls his friend 'lieutenant'

Ok. So this is more a chit-chat (or more a monolog) between mission-control and one crew-member (the lieutenant) via radio-com.
Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

By the way I didn't hear anyone reply back, so the whole recording was quite funny. Where do you find them, it must be impossible for you to listen to them.

In edition to лейтенант he mostly addresses him as летун – army slang for лётчик.

Тогда мой тебе совет – в вертолёте сидеть не надо. Будем ждать время Ч тут – в Кумбе.

время Ч must be a zero hour
Not quite sure about в Кумбе. Maybe I misheard or Кумбa is a name of the settlement they are stationed in.

There is mentioning of the new year's eve. There is mentioning of the order, which is to destroy an airplane. All the rest is just chatting.
