    Translation help please

The smart grandfather read an exciting fairytale to his favorite grandson.
Our friendly neighbor advised my younger nephew not to play with the big dog.
My naive daughter walked towards the beautiful grey squirrel with a bag of nuts.
The doctor gave me medicine because he thought it was necessary in order for me to feel better.
We are going to visit our aunt because she needs help painting her old house.
My wife likes to advise her favorite friends how to prepare a tastey Italian dinner.
My best friends bought me five russian books for my birthday.

Моя жена любит советовать своим любимым друзьям(or, if they are all female "подругам"), как приготовить вкусный итальянский обед.

    A tiny correction:

I've got a TV, and I'm not afraid to use it

Thanks DDT. I think that wasn't an easy typo to notice for a learner though, so good work.
