Thread: Translation help

Hello-

I am starting to learn russian, but knowing the alphabet and starting to learn how to say words has been a bit slow. For example, in the message below, I can recognize the meaning of many words, like "kogda", "esli", "ne", "ili", and I try to look up the others in a dictionary. But even if I find a possible definition, how it is used in the phrase means something completely different.

когда приэдеш если не приэдеш то скайи или моеш вообше не приезять

I think what this translates to is:
When will you come? If you cannot come, then tell me, or perhaps you
don't want to come.

How wrong am I?

I see nothing corresponding to 'have to' or 'want to' in the Russian.

Admittedly the Russian is mangled. I guess the OP has got the basic idea
