    Some more translation

Here I am back again with another question:
How do you say "from now on" and "from today on" in russian? I figured it has to be something like с сейчас and с сегодня. If so, how do you pronounce the double с? Do you pronounce it extra long, like sseytshas or not at all?
    Заранее большое спасибо!

    Re: Some more translation

from now on - в дальнейшем; впредь; с этих пор; отныне

from today on - начиная с сегодняшнего дня

    Or just с сегодняшнего дня.
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

And what verb tense do you use after that? Perfect, imperfect or both? And do you pronounce the initial c?

Usually the future tense is used:

С сегодняшнего дня я буду учиться лучше.

(Я ещё не начал это делать)

but we can use present as well:

С сегодняшнего дня я занимаюсь спортом.

    (Я уже начал это делать)

    and the past tense too:

С сегодняшнего дня я бросил курить.

(I've given up smoking today earlier than I said that)

And yes, we do pronounce the first "с". (make a pause between the words to make it sound clearly).

    What about с этого дня?

Or is that more colloquial that с сегодняшнего дня?
"С чий очи сънувам, чий е този лик обречен?
Смъртен глас ми се причува и отеква с вик далечен
Как да зърна да погледна, чуждий образ да прегърна,
на лицето ми студено грях в надежда да превърна.."

    It's quite good to use.

No, it doesn't have too much of colloquial feel.
