    Translate my username?

    Hi. I'm new.

I'd like to know if "мясоулей" is an accurate translation of my username, meathive? If so, am I correct in assuming "улей" is pronounced oo-ledge?

    Thanks in advance!

Ha ha, yes! Мясоулей sounds strange, but interesting.
Улей is pronounsed oo-lay. The first syllable is stressed. The "й"-sound is not like English "j", it's like the "y" in "yes".
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Thanks, Оля, for your quick reply! You really do get lost in translation as a native English speaker when reading, as opposed to hearing, Russian. (I found the word for 'hive' from a dictionary online.)

Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

    Worse than ..*.. failure, maybe?

2op - if meat is an adjective to hive, it's not good to glue them together - at least I can't remember examples of such usage. It's ok if two parts are both describing some trait ( of similar class ) of object having them mixed ( eg. кислосладкий, ракопаук ) or second is a verb of action performed on the first ( деревообрабатывающий ).
Russian is tough, let’s go shopping!

The only reference I've found had something to do with old Indian jewelry, as strange as it sounds. For me it's just a pseudonym I chose that stuck.

    Thanks, vox05.
