Three sentences relating to food...
Hi.
I am trying to understand the different tenses in Russian and the book I am using is not very good. Could someone please help me translate these into Russian? I think once I have the answers I will be able to understand better how it all works.
- I am eating fish and chips
- I cooked fish last night
- I will buy fish tomorrow
- John and Andrew love carrots
- You ate vegetables last night
- We are cooking chicken for tea
Thanks for anyone who can translate these.
Andrew

- I am eating fish and chips = Я ем рыбу с чипсами (в настоящий момент)
Настоящее время

Прошедшее время
- I will buy fish tomorrow = Я куплю завтра рыбу.
Будущее время
- John and Andrew love carrots = Джон и Эндрю (Андрей) :) любят морковь (you may use морковку but that depends on the context).
- You ate vegetables last night = Вчера (прошлым) вечером (ночью) ты ел овощи.
- We are cooking chicken for tea = Мы готовим курицу (цыплёнка) к чаю (do you really eat chicken with tea?)

You're welcome, but usually people give their own variants of translation (well, maybe we've just done your homework and you'll remain uneducated :) )
