    Is "*" a Cyrillic letter because I don't know that one! Perhaps you could spell this word again and put the * for a different letter so I can find out what word it is

    * is an obsolete cyrillic letter, eliminitated in Shakhmatov's spelling reform of 1917-18. It was pronounced [beep], but it was felt that since this sound could just as easily be rendered using other cyrillic letters (биип), "*" was superfluous. This decision caused much less controversy than the elimination of the 'yat', but in common with the "yat", emigres from the Soviet Union continued to use "*" long after the Second World War.

    Ну и "большие" тоже может значить.

    "У них, наверное, маленький дом?"
    "Х.я себе маленький! Ох.енный!"

    Разве что в этом смысле это слово реже употребляется

    В моём "идиолекте" дело обстоит так:

    "большие" - это "охеренные", "охрененные" или "офигенные"
    "хорошие" - это "охерительные", "охренительные" или "офигительные"

    Вышеупомянутое нехорошее слово подчиняется тому же правилу...

    LOL. So it's similar to the specialized English characters #,$, !, and * that appear on the comics pages, right?
