    From Russian to English

Бесспорно, в наше нынешнее суматошное время Леонид Ильич Брежнев и память о нем общественным вниманием не удостоены.

Undoubtedly, talk about the incumbent president nowadays has given to fussing lately and Leonid Ilych Brezhnev is deliriously mad that nothing was conferred for his kindness in public life.
Lolverb? I mean, from Russian to English what? And for goodness sake, where is 'incumbent president' in the original sentence? Then, Brezhnev as any dead person is not 'deliriously mad', nor is it in the original sentence. It's hard to tell wheter it's a misunderstanding or attempt to translate the text more poetically, so the original meaning is that now, in bustling time, Brezhnev and the memory of him are lacking public attention.
Russian is tough, let’s go shopping!

I apologize sir Vox05. I did not mean to do it. I was sincere in my intentions. I deleted the translation. I really want to learn Russian.

Undoubtedly, in hasty (crazy) times like these, the name of L. Brejnev has lost it's public appeal and sound of his memory has almost faded away.

I think that translation by vox05 "...Brezhnev and the memory of him are lacking public attention." is closer to the original. It's more neutral, and there's nothing about appeal in the original sentence.

Clearly, in these crazy times the public no longer cares to remember LI Brezhniev.

А зачем in these crazy times? Разве кто-нибудь любит его внимать?

Внимать здесь не подходит. Сразу Пушкин вспоминается. Он внимал своим возлюбленным.
Разве кто-нибудь теперь его вспоминает? Может быть, иногда вспоминают анекдоты о нём.

Loose translation(with due respect sir lampada)

Calling the attention of readers not to adopt the right approach should be corrected right away. He was a Pushkin scholar who was remembered to had given attention to and beloved by the people. Perhaps we have to remember the good things he had done nonetheless like those anecdotes about him.

I missed the part where I claimed that mine was closer, or for that matter, asked anyone's opinion on that.
