I was looking through my dictionary and I have found some words with which I have questions.

Kryl'tso - Porch (does that mean connected to a house with no covering above it?)

I found the words:
Kuzen and Kuzina

I know that 'Dvoyurodnyy brat' and 'Dvoyurodnaya sestra' mean cousin (male and female), but are the above also used for an abbreviated term?

I have asked this question before and I am not sure if the word has the same connotation as the other.

Attic - Mansarda, Cherdak

Is there a difference? Because I know in French attic is 'grenier', but I also found in my dictionary, that 'mansarde' means an inhabited attic. Does this have the same meaning in Russian? Mansarda meaning a place where people stay, and a cherdak meaning a place where things are stored?

How does one say 'hall' or 'hallway'? - Zal, Kholl

How does one say 'Welcome to my house'?
or just simply 'Welcome'

I believe that is all for now.

Thanks
