    Please translate this for me

    Hi guys,
This is my first topic and I'm really looking forward to find some translation help. I would really appreciate it if you could please write the translation in Latin charachters.

" Hello, I hope everything with you is okay. I don't know what to say, but I just want to tell you that you are lucky to have a daughter like Vika and that you should be so proud of her. That's all, take care, bye bye"

It's difficult to write in Russian by Latin letters.
There are two variants of translation. Variant "Ti" is by default, but it could be rude in some situations. In other hand, "Vi" is not appropriate either, for example, between husband and wife.

Privet, ja nadejus', chto u tebja vso v porjadke. Daze ne znaju chto govorit', no mne hochetsa skazat', chto tebe povezlo, chto u tebja(vas) est' takaja doch kak Vika i chto ti(vi) dolzna(dolzni) ej gorditsa. Eto vsjo, beregi(beregite) sebja. Poka.

Thanks for replying and I ask you please don't be angry! I don't know how to pronounce the russian words properly and that's why I wanted the translation to be in Latin letters. I can understand your concern. Thanks for help.

Klybnichka, I second the comment about difficulty writing Russian using the latin alphabet.

I want to clarify Veter's comment. There are two forms of address, which determine the endings of verbs and adjectives you use. If you are personally close you would use the "thou, ты" form, otherwise use "You, Вы."

Plus, I hope I haven't misunderstood the level of your Russian here, I make a few spelling modifications below. I'm going to change the "j" to "y" so you don't say "jah nadayjuice." So the variants are:

    Close friends:
Privet ___, ya nadeyus', chto u tebya vsyo v poryadke. Dazhe ne znayu chto govorit', no mne hochetsa skazat', chto tebe povezlo, chto u tebya est' takaya doch kak Vika i chto ti dolzhna [this word assumes you are writing to a female] ey gorditsa. Eto vsyo, beregi sebya. Poka.

[I think I would just say "Vsyo." without the Eto.]

    Else:
Privet ___, ya nadeyus', chto u Vas vsyo v poryadke. Dazhe ne znayu chto govorit', no mne hochetsa skazat', chto Vam povezlo, chto u Vas est' takaya doch kak Vika i chto Vy dolzny [in this word gender irrelevant] ey gorditsa. Eto vsyo, beregite sebya. Poka.

P.S. Even with our comments, you probably still won't know how to pronounce the Russian words, as we have not indicated where the stress falls, and there are other considerations as well. Our suggestions are more transliteration of the Russian words than they are phonetic representations of them. Good luck.

I don't know what is harder to read Cyrillic or to try read transliteration which sometimes is not clear to native speakers.

It's double hard for me because 'j' in Latvian sounds like "й" (Latvija), and "y" sounds like "ы" in Latgalian.
