Help translating letter sent from relatives in Belarus

    Hello Everybody

I was wondering if someone could help me translate a letter.
It was sent by realtives of my grandfather who died recently.

He came from from Viliejka in what is now Belarus. He spoke Polish. I think that part of Belarus was under Polish control when he lived there in the 1920/1930's.
He was conscripted into the Polish army in 1940 and ended up living in the UK for the rest of his life and never went back. He left behind his mother and father (who are now dead) as well as brothers and sisters. At least 2 of his sisters are still alive.
I managed to get a message to his relatives using Google translate but they have now sent a hand written letter which I am having great difficulty translating.
I think the language is a form of Russian(?). I know it isn't Polish.

I have been able to make a few words out like "thanks", "photographs", "address" but not much more.
Even if it is written in Belarusian I thought some of you Russian speakers may be able to make out more words than I can!

I would love to know what his relatives are asking and be able to reply to them so they know what has happened to him.

Here is link to the pdf. file of the hand written letter. It isn't too big - only about 103 kb.

    Thanking you in anticipation

    Hello, Mr Aybson.

I appreciate the information you provided me with regarding my brother Yan. I have a few questions to you. I want to find out how are you related to my brother: are you his friend, a physician, or are you a grandson of Yana's wife? I really appreciate your letter, but I would like you to please let me know where was he buried (or was he cremated)? Perhaps, I will be able to visit the cemetery, so I would really appreciate your answer.

You mentioned you have Yan's photos. Would you be able to send them to my home address: Index: 220092 (deleted further on).

    Hope it helps.

    "Dear mister Gibson, merry Christmas!
I wish you health and all the best!

Good bye! I wait response from you impatiently."
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?
