Actually I didn't get those expressions.

"fly free" ~ лети сободно/даром or something like this. "fall free" doesn't sound better.

May be you meant "a free fall" (свободное падение)?

IMHO, "a free fly" sounds funny because it could mean "свободный полёт" and "бесплатная муха".

in the context of hostage situation ''to fall free" could mean "беспрепятственно обрушиваться" but only if in the original it has the meaning of destruction, breakdown.

Yeah I guess your right fall free doesn't...the picture in my mind kind of worked with it...but not really in context with the situation. Thanks though for the translation of fly free I am going to use it. Basically its going to be a phoenix rising from the ashes with the fly free title underneath it. Its basically how I picture everyone who was apart of the situation living and dead...everyone is forever changed. So thankyou again for the translation.

My goodness. Which translation did you plan to use? Your picture would be a lot less dramatic for Russian-speakers if you wrote something like "бесплатная муха" underneath. Why don't you just write it in English?

I think "Лети свободно" is the best translation to use here=))

My gooness! He originally wrote "сободно"! There's going to be a huge typo on that, provided she used the right translation! Or what if she included the slash? Or even worse: What if she just wrote "Даром" on it? It's too bad she didn't come back one more time just to check!
