Please help with translation :-)
How do you translate the following?
Big thanks is advance. :D
Though you are smart, you do not know everything.
Appearance is not everything.
You do not have realistic expectations.
I will take care of you.
She wants to start a family.
Re: Please help with translation :-)
1)Though you are smart, you do not know everything.
2)Appearance is not everything.
Here we need a context, but most probably it's
3)You do not have realistic expectations.
This sentence is look better when it's switched around
4)I will take care of you.
- Perfect!
5)She wants to start a family.
I believe it's
You did mean that she wanted to get married and/or to have children, right? There is no literal translation for "to start a family", so you have to say it like this.
Well, after a consideration... You can say "Она хочет завести семью" - but it will mean that she want to get married first and than to have children. If she is married now, it will sound strange.

I think "Она хочет создать семью." will be OK here.

It's better to say "Хоть вы и умный, вы не знаете всего"

I'd say "Внешность -- это еще не все"

Why do you use genitive "всего" here? I would think you would use accusative since "everything" is the direct object.

Here is some context:
Princess: I am the most beautiful woman in the world so you have to do everything I say. If not, then I am leaving.
Prince: Yes you are the most beautiful woman in the world. But appearance is not everything.

Oh, in this context you better say "красота - это еще не все", because "внешний вид - это еще не все" sounds too formal and kinda stiff for the prince-princess dialog. :D
