Someone who I became very close with through work (he is Belarusian) has recently gotten a new job. It's difficult to adjust when I've seen and talked to him all day everyday for so long and now I don't. I want to write him a quick note that basically says this:

"You are not just important to me, knowing you has changed my life. Remember that I always care, I am always interested, and I am always ready to hear your voice. I miss your face. I miss your brain. I miss the way you make me smile. I miss you."
Ты не только очень важен для меня, ты изменил мою жизнь. Помни, что мне всегда есть дело, мне всегда интересно и я всегда готова слышать твой голос. Мне не хватает твоего лица, твоего ума. Я скучаю по тому как ты заставляешь меня улыбаться. Я скучаю по тебе.

Again, I thank you in advance. I'm fascinated by the Russian language, but as a strictly english speaker, I find it to be EXTREMELY challenging to translate with correct syntax and an appropriate tone.
You're welcome. Although these words translated into Russian are not so romantic as they were in English

I assumed you're a female. Otherwise this text needs some genders changed.
Send me a PM if you need me.

Thank you Ramil. Yes, I am female. I appreciate your help. And as for anyone giving me assistance, as long as you get the gist (or general feel) of what I'm trying to say, feel free to change some things if it will make the translation less rigid and more romantic. Again, thank you.

Cracking my brain, I wrote out this:

Ты для меня — больше жизни.
    Я без тебя — никуда...
Мне не хватает твоего такого знакомого голоса.
Мне не хватает твоего родного лица.
    Мне не хватает твоей улыбки,
    Мне не хватает тебя...

    I hope it will help.

Thanks for the help with the initial translation. Can you please also translate one more sentiment? I really appreciate it! Thank you.

I miss the way you look at me.

    I miss your brain.
This sounds a bit weird. Maybe you should say "I miss your intellect".
    Я взял палку и нож, мелки и бумагу и направился к холмам.

    I miss your intellect
But there are none of the similar Russian gentle phrases which could sound clear, I suspect.
    Я так думаю.

Again thank you so much for your help. As awkward as it sounds I would actually use the word 'brain' in english. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help of with one more translation: "I am so sad without you in my life." Thank you so much.

    Here is my guess:

Я так печальный без тебя в моей жизни.

Я так печален без тебя в моей жизни.
"В моей жизни" (in my life) doesn't sound good in this sentence in Russian.

I suppose just "Мне так плохо без тебя" or "Мне так тебя не хватает."
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Thank you for the quick response. I guess you're right, even in english simply "I am so sad without you" probably sounds better and is more what I mean.

In english, or I guess more specifically in the U.S., we use the expression, "I'M DONE!" I'm sure you know what it means. The basic gist or sentiment behind it is ... That's it, I'm through. I'm finished with everything. F&*K this! Is there an equivalent type of Russian expression as "I'm done?" Thanks for your help :P

Not quite like "I'm done!", but possible: "Всё!"

    Может, быть всё-таки "ЙЕС-ЙЕС-ЙЕС"?...

Оля, как-то странно подбирать эквивалент "ЙЕС-ЙЕС-ЙЕС" на фразу F&*K this!

hnf - there're many ways you can say that in Russian. The key principle you should stick to is the emotions you feel when saying it. Because if you're happy that something has ended you can say it "Всё!", if you are disgusted with the work and giving it up the best way is to use мат (if there are no ladies nearby, i.e. "Да е.ись оно всё конём!" your tone should express your emotions though). There's more polite way to say it "Да гори оно всё синим пламенем!" (Let it burn with a blue flame). And there are dozens of other ways to express it. Emotions are much more important in Russian than the words so use them.

Я просто уже второй день безуспешно стараюсь понять, что такое I'M DONE...
