    language at all ... that's the reason for the posts i made... so i

    Your welcome. But be careful, the site does make some mistakes.
    Here are some examples of English to Russian to English translations.

    I have a pen.
    Я имею ручку.
    I have the handle.

    I like him.
    Я люблю его.
    I love it.

    I am bored.
    Мне надоедают.
    To me bother.

    Grief befalls me.
    Горе случается со мной.
    To mountain happens with me.

    Peace to the world.
    Мир к миру.
    The world to the world.

    I cannot go home.
    Я не могу пойти домой.
    I cannot go home.
    Perfect!

    Wouldn't it be better to say the standard, У меня есть ручку?

    иметь we can also use in some cases

    я имею дом в деревне

    here the verb иметь underscors constant ownership.

    Its better not to use such translation in russian - it always cause mistakes ...
    better to ask somebody to translate and explain!
