    Please correct a beginner?

Hi! I am new here - pardon me if this is not the right forum or way to do things here - but I was hoping on some help with finding my own mistakes... I'm a total beginner, and just tried to write this text . Would anyone point out any (all the!) errors that I made?

Hi, schildt! You've chosen the right forum.
    Corrections:
(You meant "I write in the metro", right?)

Thanks for the quick answer. You're right about the metro. I also notice that I underestimate the possibilties of gentive form. What about the sentence building: Is there any way to explain why I shouldn't put писать по русский at the beginning of the sentence?

You can actually say "Писать по-русски мне трудно" too, but the other variant seems more natural to me in this context. Often there are no strict rules for the sentence building. It often depends on the context, intonation, words you want to emphasize etc. With experience it will become easier.
