Thread: Pen Friend

Hi,

I have a pen friend whom i lost contact with recently, and I only have her russian address. I do not know what this is translated into English. Can anyone help me? I am planning a visit there as I travel across Russia. Any help would be great, a website or anytihng!?!?
This is what is says as bets I can copy using the symbol function on word.
Any help would be ace!!!

Is this the correct spelling in Russian?

Maybe it's "Челябинская обл."?

Хм... "Г Чебарина" больше похоже на имя (инициал) и фамилию, чем на город. Не думаю, что есть город "Чебарина". И надо бы в адресе еще страну указать.

The spelling is as close as I can get it...I assume some parts of it are hand writting variations, for example the п letter in her hand writting is more round at the top. Ive copied it as best I can comparing the writting with the available characters on microsoft word symbols. Thanks for every ones help!!! xx

couldn't find the city Чебарина on the map or on the web either

Can you scan her address and post the picture here?

I can do it but it will be in a few days, i dont have a scanner here, but I will have access on monday hopefully, so will do then. Thanks so much for all your help! xx
