What would be the context because it may mean different things such as whimperer, snot nose, milksop or even spineless creature.

well, i have to translate a passage about this man that sees this younger person waiting for the bus, and the first guy (who is older, I think) is all pissed off because of the band the kid is wearing on his hat. So the paragraphs is pretty much about him raging at this 'filthy swine' and saying things like that, and then he takes advantage of the crowds of people to step on this guy's feet because he is so angry!!! Anyway, at the very end he calls him the milksop or whatever, and so I was just wondering what would be best to write in English.
