Need Help with this translation pls...thanks!

Вы - прелестны! Никогда не встречала кого-нибудь,
кто бы был столь мил и умен, чтобы так восхитительно
играть. Впрочем, самое главное, что вы, милейший
Peter, так нравитесь мне в той шапочке перед выходом в
    бассейн.

    It translates:
You are charming! I have never met anyone who was so sweet and smart to play so excitingly. Anyhow, the main thing is that I like you so much, dear Peter, in that hat before the exit in the pool(someone help me out on this part)

Errr....it's always funny when people give us really personal stuff to translate Why is she calling you вы considering you are on such...err...intimate terms?

Did that hat and pool part make any sense? I'm guessing it's a reference only you two would understand, either that or I translated it incorrectly.

What I'm curious about is why so many people come on here with notes from their Russian friends/lovers/penpals/relatives - shouldn't they know that they don't speak any Russian?

that part you mention does not quite make sense.
regarding your other question, we usually speak in english, but I wanted to see how her thoughts translated in her native tongue.

I love you when you are in that cap you put on before going to the swimming-pool

"в шапочке" -- I think this means a rubber swimcap that people where when swimming in a pool.

Выход в бассейн actually means "entering the pool" (or the poolroom).

One of the meaning of "выйти" is "to come out in the open" (it usually implies that you leave some more closed space, like, in this case, a locker-room etc).

Was there a time when she saw you in a swimcap just before you entered a swimming pool?

actually yes. It's a reference to an instance when I had a ski hat on just before I left my apartment to go for a swim. thanks.

Hah! So my original translation was more accurate, although less clear...
