Thread: Who wants to join me in starting a MAJOR project?

I am crazy and have been wanting to translate a certain show into Russian.

For now, I would like to start smaller, with a show that does not involve a lot of singer.

My Russian vocabulary/Grammar is pretty bad so I need lots of help.

Someone (or a bunch of people) can work on the translation. I'll work on making sure the music and words flow, etc.

yea, it does make sense.

"I had been wanting to go to russia for many years when finally putin came to my door with his brand new MI24 and said "давай матвей! погнали!"

The use of stative verbs in the continuous form is an increasing trend in modern English.

I think it sounds awful, but I learn English mostly from books so my knowledge of modern slang isn

It is used to create a mood and give feeling.

Prhaps you all know this "I'm loving it!" motto in McDonalds.

It means that someone is reaching for an explanation that is way out there, as in not very believeable. I think it comes from when someone would tell you to go very far for a throw of a ball, no, farther, farther, farther... that's way too far, come back. Just to make you run all that way and back.

Who is fetching what? Why is it far away?

Duh! Obviously it has not been fetched yet. That is why it is still far away.
