    Siberia?

how is Siberia spelt по русски? i thought it might be себирия but i'm not sure.......... by the way has anyone been on the Trans-Siberian?
Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal, or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

Pretty famous throughout the world. The longest railroad in the world как-никак

А fake pride, I would say. Why should we pride if it is an economical disaster? It was just a military project against China, nothing more. Though no, it was a thing to shift people's attention to - and from the more important things.

another sense of fake pride... has anyone seen those losers on MTV that wear the С.С.С.Р. Shirts ?? Aperently it's some company, i forget... but those trendy morons don't even know what kind of crap they are standing for. I bet in a few years swastikas will be the logo of some teddy bear company.

It's a kinda fashionable now in Russia to wear sth with USSR on it. I don't really approve it either. But I also don't claim that the USSR is a crap. All has its advantages and disadvantages. I managed to live in the USSR..and it was well....not worse than now...even better I'd say

My friend, I would like to travel one day on the Trans-Siberian. Also on the Orient Express.

As for idiots who wear СССР shirts without knowing what it stands for, well they're idiots of course. I hate people who try to make a statement even when they don't know what they're talking about or because it's trendy to do so.

But, the Soviet Union was truly something. From 1917 having a backwards country to 1991 creating a world superpower who could rival the US, as well as surviving two world wars...

OH! My dear friend Viktor, where did you get your icon from? He is so funny. I have him dancing on my desktop. My friends on AIM also like him. Is he a Russian cartoon character or just some random funny icon?

It's just a random character! I'm glad that you liked it. Hope it doesn't get on someone's nerves :P
