It's about the equivalent of AmE slang "cool" (i.e. "stylish, pleasantly surprising and/or attractive" not "low temperature), I believe.
Yes, it means "cool"
Thanks!
Doesn't it mean "classy"?
Yep, but it's taken on the meaning of "cool." Sort of like "cool" originally meant "cool(temperature)."
"Class!" has exactly the same figurative meaning as "Cool!" here in Blighty, they're interchangable.
In fact, I might occassionaly be heard to describe something as 'class', but I doubt I'd ever use 'cool'.
So what is the difference between классно и круто?
There isn't really a diffrence, though классно may be used a little more. They are both used to convey the idea that something is "neat".
Also, you can just say 'Класс!' - cool!'
And yet, another word which means pretty much the same thing is "Клёво" Though, I have only heard guys use this one.

As far as I can tell, they're used in the same manner, but the words have a slightly different connotation - "kruto" is more applicable to things that are more, I dunno, macho cool...like sports cars and sexy gangsters. I may be totally off on this, though.Quote:
