Its bit different than translation... read inside
Hello I'm David, I'm new at this site. Recently i had troubles with parents at the PC, and they blocked it ^^.
I Tried to gain the keys that are pressed while they put the password, but all i got is XESKLBM... and maybe V too..... Now I have russian parents, and therefore I have a russian keyboard too. So when I type with russian letters i get 'ч у ы л д и ь' and again maybe 'м' with it too.... Is there a word that comes out of it? Some word in russian... And if not, what letters are needed to be added? Please help, and thanks for all helpers!

At least David is quite honest with us. Even more this thread has helped me in my day by day life. It has really put a smile on my face. ( :D )
Back to the topic. I afraid that you really get some letters wrong. I can't imagine a word in Russian containing these letters. But if you are sure that these letters are correct you can just test all possible combinations: with 7 letters it will be roughly 5040 possibilities. It will not take you longer than a week. But if we take into account eights letter we get 40320 possibilities. You will certainly succeed until the begin of September. :mosking:
Of course there is always another way to get the password: you can tidy up your room or short cut your lawn or whatever your parents want. Good luck!

Made-up-out-of-whatever velbkmxs ( but x and s are bit off there ). Now you have just 256 possibilities (shift involved)

How did you come up with 'ч у ы л д и ь'? Did you look at the keyboards while they wrote that?
It may be easier to hack it all than try to come up with a word out of those letters.
I don't know exactly how, but there are ways of breaking the Windows admin password (if that's the password you're talking about). You should look that up! And then, lol, why not install a keylogger on the computer afterwards? :P (SpyBoss is a great one!) You wouldn't ever have that problem again :D

Actually it is coded in that way that it require the same password in the same language format. You cant translate and work with that. It is restricted for the security purpose. You cant help that out.
