Thread: Imperfective? please correct

The culture of the Enlightenment, which Russia borrowed, had a number of salient characteristics.


Культура в просвещённость, который Россия заняло, имело число в выстул характерная.

Imperfective aspect since it "borrowed culture" which exists as still of today. I just don't know if "had a number of salient characteristics" which still exists as of today can also be imperfective. (Only an imperfective verb can express a single action as a process, a single action in progress, or an action performed on more than one occassion and completed on each occassion.

У культуры просвещения, позаимствованной Россией, был ряд характерных черт.

"позаимствованной" - perfective participle - single action as it was borrowed once
"был" - imperfective

the Enlightenment is actually Эпоха Просвещения
