ok, sorry if i came off too harsh on you dogboy. if you are tired of being corrected i am sure you can just add on "no corrections please" to your posts and noone will bother you. i know how it is; it takes a long time to get to a level where you're not always making mistakes even though later you look at them and think "ahh i knew that." a lot of errors people point out in my writing, i already knew about the rule that says you cant do this or that, but i just forget. it takes a long time to get good; if people correct you it will help, but i guess some people don't like to be corrected. you should not be dissapointed in yourself, you are doing very well for someone who does not have access to any books or whatsoever. in fact it is amazing people can learn so much just from the internet.

Finally, somone understands actually, i think it is pretty common to be frusterated when learning languages basic skillz. a few days ago i almost posted a topic, because i needed help with translating "A box of dangerous ammunitions" and it kept comming up wrong because i kept leaving off the ов ending, and wanting to put on an adjective ending finally, i slapped myself in the forehead *several times* and realized the errors of my way. and finally, yes you people need to keep correcting me !! it's the only way i will ever cram this crap into my brain.

so then, how does one tell their russian boyfriend "i love you" without getting laughed at? and how is it pronounced?

You can just enclose the message to be quoted in these tags:

'here runs your message'

The crucial thing - dont forget to unckeck the checkboxes "Disable HTML in this post" and "Disable BBCode in this post" situated under the place in which you type your message.

Never mind. That "quote" button was not in view, I had to use the bar and pan to the right to see it.
