Man, someone needs to come up with a way to transliterate Russian properly.

I don't know why, but it always takes me about three times as long to read transliterated russian as it does cyrillic. Anybody else get this?

Because you don't read transliterated Russian as often as you do cyrillic... pretty simple.

When I was in Russia and I sent SMS with transliterated Russian, I got quite good at reading and typing after a while. It isn't that hard, just needs practice.

I do. And I hate transliteration. In chats I usually ignored and/or banned people using it.
