I need help with an obituary please. The sentence in question is:

В 1957 г. брат (name removed by me)
переехал в Майами, Флорида, со своею женою и присоединился к Русско-Украинской Бап. церкви, и до конца своей жизни оставался верным.


In 1957 brother (name removed by me)
moved to Miami, Florida with his wife and joined with a Russian-Ukrainian ??? church


and for the rest of his life remained faithful.

I can't find what Бап. is - is it short for "Baptist"? Can someone please tell me what it is?
