It sounds right to me to say:
когда я встаю, у меня всегда болит горло. но тогда я пью воду, и всё в порядке.

Maybe:
Когда я просыпаюсь у меня всегда горло болит. Но после того, как я пью воду всё в порядке(нормально).

Are you kidding? Nobody would ask about it in real life. It's obviouse that боль прошла. It's not only acceptable, it's more common. Nobody really says "Горло болело, но потом боль прошла". It's more common to say "Горло болело, но прошло" or "...но сейчас всё нормально/хорошо" or "...но сейчас всё в порядке".Quote:

We do know the context - "Когда я просыпаюсь у меня всегда горло болит", so "всё" can mean only "боль в горле". The same with other parts of body. It's maybe not correct for written/formal language but it's natural for spoken language.Quote:
