В эту ночь все огни погасли в Джорджии
В эту ночь невиновного человека повесили
Не доверяй тайну никакому деревенщине-адвокату
Ведь руки городского судьи в крови
Dionysus - DionysianOriginally Posted by Knave
n. "Дионисий", a. "дионисийский" (e.g. in "дионисийские мистерии").
Hephaestus - Hephesian
n. Гефест, and I don't think there is a specific adjective derived from this name, so Hephesian may be translated differently, depending on the context
Ra
Ра. This fellow isn't really a Greek, though. He was kind of adopted by Greeks, I think
Estrus
Hmmmm... Are you sure this is a god's name? Never heard of a god Estrus...
Hercules
Known in Russian both as "Геракл" (more common) and "Геркулес" (this is a latinized form).
Note: Hercules Poirot is "Эркюль Пуаро"
Shogun
Now, do you mean to say this is a Greek good to???
Shoguns were military rulers of medieval Japan, who ruled, theoretically "in the name of imperor" but actually held all the power in their own hands.
The Russian for shogun is "сёгун".
Zephyr
Зефир (One of those gods who were responsible for different types of winds)
Nereid
Нереида
Aureate, Frost, Sable
Hawk-Eye, Ember, Ivy
Fa?ade, Sandman,
Blade, Equine, Knave, Absinthe
No clue about this guys. Of course, all these words do mean something in Russian, but I do not recognize them as name of gods, Greek or otherwise.. Where did you find this names, anyway? Some cartoon serial?
:P
Those aren't greek gods. I just made the title of Greek Gods, and was wondering if anyone could translate the rest. That's all. I those names were not from a serial? series, maybe? But just random words I would have like to know.

I recognize a number of them as comic book characters, and dude, I hate to tell ya, but I'm pretty sure Neil Gaiman hasn't been translated to Russian yet.

That's the definition I used.

That's the definition I used. But I guess 'series' would indeed be a better word here
