Thread: It is great to meet you in the flesh

I have been talking with someone on Skype. Now I am going to meet them in person. In English I would say something like "It is great to meet you in the flesh, at last".

How could I say this in Russian?

"Здорово наконец увидеть тебя(Вас) вживую"

Also "встретиться лично" expresses the same idea.

Is вживую in the feminine because you are assuming that I am talking to a woman or for some other reason?

Вживую is an adverb, it has no gender.
There are more adverbs like this: наудалую, вслепую, навскидку, понарошку etc.

Though we make puns of this category of words sometimes:
Штирлиц выстрелил вслепую. Слепая упала.
Here the audience could wrongly hear :
Штирлиц выстрелил в слепую (женщину). Слепая упала.
