A few different proposals

I was hoping that someone would be able to translate these sentences for me, both into literal (word for word) and into overall meaning. Any help is greatly appreciated as I would hate to make a cultural faux pas.

1. Ты выйдешь за меня?

2. Хочу, чтобы ты стала моей женой

3. Я предлагаю тебе свою руку и сердце.
Всё, о чём я молю Бога - чтобы ты сказала "Да!"
Будь моей женою!

Any advice on a better way to say these sentences such as word order or maybe different words to better make a point is also greatly appreciated as I am only learning Russian now.

Actually, I am glad you mentioned that Оля!

You see there is this huge international debate about the true symbolism of using the женой versus женою. It is a little like зимой and зимою, if you have heard about that heated debate before (it is on the fourm here somewhere).

You see, in order to make words rhyme better, in poetry it is often acceptable to use the -ою ending over the -ой. It gives it a poetic feel to it. The -ою ending was also used alot in the olden days (although I am not sure how far back, anyone?)

In essence: they mean the exact same thing! I hope that answered your question.
