    What is the response to this in Russian. Such as pleased to meet you or nice to meet you.

    of course "йоу, как дела, подруга?" is an awfully sweet way of expressing ones delight at being introduced to someone of the gentler sex , I wouldn't risk using it in front of her mum/dad/older brother/uncle/pitbull.
