I agree, Lassie "жжот". IMHO, Collies is second smartest breed of dogs (after German shepherd dog).
Our dog is a lab-collie mix -- it definitely learned tricks better than our other dogs have. It's funny too -- you just tell her "Annie, get out!" and she leaves the house. The other dog glares at you and goes back to sleep.
