I read a little about this race that was completed recently. It took about fourty days. I saw a photograph of some of the vehicles; they were ordinary passenger cars.
Does the route from Peking to Moscow consist of entirely paved roads? Have any of you experienced driving motor vehicles through Siberia?

A distance of 15000 km. could be comforatably traveled on America highways in 10 days. What would be the big differences in traveling?
