    Whatever happened to...Mike in Wien?

    I was just randomly checking the member list and I realized he'd disappeared. Wasn't he one of the few, the proud, the mods? I find it suspicious that Lampada has since стать модераторчиком. Conspiracy theories anyone?

    Mike hasn't been here... since... since I joined! Lampada didn't turn moderator until very recently. So no. No conspiracy theories!

    Yeah, he was one of the originals. He disappeared a long time ago, however He came back for about a day last year some time. I was wondering the same thing right after he first quit posting.

    i talk to him on aim all the time.he just doesnt learn russian anymore. hes married to garmonstika or however u spell it and they live in austria. ifu wantme2 sayvhi for u next time i talk to him i will.

    It's difficult to learn multiple languages simultaneously. I studied Gaelic when I was in Ireland, but I realized it was forcing all of the German out of my head which I need for communicating with coworkers who speak everyday English very well but are severely lacking when it comes to programming or electronics terms. If I study anything else I'll lose all my useful phrases like, "Na Servus! Wer isn des?" and "Bist du deppat? I hob di scho zwamal gsagt dass i fertig bin. Gehma."

    Officially I am also very busy with work and do not have time to come to messageboards. Off the record I bought a DVD burner and have about fifteen seasons of the Simpsons and roughly 40 or 50 films I want to see but have yet to download.

    PS: What's the deal with the Preview button not working?
