    Weather

    Hi.

I am wondering how you would make the sentence it is windy, and the same goes for other weather types, eg sunny, rainy etc.

I know that the word for 'wind' is ветер and after looking up at

    https://www.seelrc.org:8443/russ/index.jsp

I noticed that the word for windy is ветреный so to make up a sentance would it simply be:

это ветреный - meaning it is windy?

So... это ветреный и облачный - it is windy and cloudy?

Could anyone tell me if this is right, and if not where I'm going wrong?

    Andrew

Aren't you meant to say ветер дует or something like that?

You need no 'это' when translating sentences like "It's windy/cloudy etc. from English into Russian.

BTW, Rtyom , the word ветреный is an exception, so you shouldn't use double н

    Yep, forgot it. Corrected.

Do you mean to say that you're drunk at the moment or that you were drunk at the time of writing your previous post?

Nope. That's why I added "or something."
